Due to continued expansion, an M&E Draughtsperson is now required to join the busy team; working with the support of the Engineering Manager.
- Creating and developing technical drawings using AutoCAD and (where there is experience) Revit
- Surveying various project premises and producing high-quality working drawings for installation.
- Coordinating the various MEP services, clash detection.
- Creating material and equipment schedules.
- Controlling documents including drawing registers, submittals and filing.
- Revising and updating drawings as required to meet specifications and standards.
- Performing material take-offs to support project planning and procurement.
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project accuracy.
- Have previous experience within the building services sector
- Have excellent AutoCAD and Revit software skills

A motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager is now required to work with the Operations Manager. Ideally the successful individual will be capable of managing full or part sites overseeing a team of electrical and mechanical installers to ensure timely execution of project within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plan all resources before works, ensuring all the shop drawings, materials, tools and equipment are available for project start
- Liaise with internal departments required in project execution
- Attend regular meetings with clients
- Work with bill of quantities ensuring programme of works and labour budget are aligned
- Ensure team members are working on the latest drawings
- Supervise team to ensure time and quality standards are maintained
- Finalise projects within the stipulated deadline and budget whilst keeping the quality up to standard;
- Mark-up of as-fitted drawings and BOQ as required
- Ensure labour and material waste is minimised
- Ensure strict H&S rules and regulations are followed by the team
- Place any internal orders for consumables related to the projects being assigned
- Complete weekly GRNs and timesheets
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the building services sector, ideally on industrial and commercial M&E installations
- Demonstrate experience leading a team of tradesmen on installation projects
- Be excellent client facers with the ability to communicate well with subcontractors, engineers and other stakeholders
- Have excellent organisation and management skills on site and be capable of maintaining accurate filing systems
- Have excellent knowledge of Autocad and must be able to read Drawings and Electrical Schematics;
- Have experience working with MS office packages
- Possess a strong commitment to quality, workplace safety and customer satisfaction.

Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with an industrial background to join our client’s Electrical Services team. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission electrical systems, including distribution boards, control panels, motors, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
Work on 3-phase power systems, control systems, and plant equipment in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Ensure all work complies with current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Complete electrical test certificates, service reports, and maintenance records accurately.
Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, HVAC, and renewable energy engineers.
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and project managers on-site.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or commercial environment.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase distribution, control panels, and industrial plant equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Full UK driving licence.
