A Structural Engineer is now required to join the busy, friendly team. Qualified professionals are required to undertake both design and site supervision due to further expansion within the company.
Individuals will:
- Undertake design and site supervision on a range of commercial and mixed-use projects
- Take responsibility for liaison with clients, consultants and contractors as required to manage projects.
- Be technically strong in structural engineering
- Undertake analysis and design computations for a variety of building structures. This will involve familiarizing yourself with the office practices and a range of design and construction techniques

Responsibilities:
- Plan all resources before works, ensuring all the shop drawings, materials, tools and equipment are available for project start
- Liaise with internal departments required in project execution
- Attend regular meetings with clients
- Work with bill of quantities ensuring programme of works and labour budget are aligned
- Ensure team members are working on the latest drawings
- Supervise team to ensure time and quality standards are maintained
- Finalise projects within the stipulated deadline and budget whilst keeping the quality up to standard;
- Mark-up of as-fitted drawings and BOQ as required
- Ensure labour and material waste is minimised
- Ensure strict H&S rules and regulations are followed by the team
- Place any internal orders for consumables related to the projects being assigned
- Complete weekly GRNs and timesheets
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the building services sector, ideally on industrial and commercial M&E installations
- Demonstrate experience leading a team of tradesmen on installation projects
- Be excellent client facers with the ability to communicate well with subcontractors, engineers and other stakeholders
- Have excellent organisation and management skills on site and be capable of maintaining accurate filing systems
- Have excellent knowledge of Autocad and must be able to read Drawings and Electrical Schematics;
- Have experience working with MS office packages
