Heavy Vehicle Technician Malta   Our Client is a supplier of various heavy plant vehicles and machinery to Malta.  Due to ongoing expansion, a Heavy Vehicle Technician / Mechan is required to inspect, diagnose, repaid and maintain Caterpillar machinery, engines etc   Responsibilities include:
  • Performing diagnostics
  • Inspecting engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
  • Identifying faults
  • Undertaking repairs and maintenance on diesel
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair records.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
  Talent will:
  • Possess certification in heavy vehicle mechanics, with preference being for training and certification in from Caterpillar
  • Have proven experience working with heavy-duty vehicles or diesel engines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Have strong problem solving capabilities together with a dedication to health & safety

Finance Executive Malta   Our client is a reputable civil engineering contractor based in the North of Malta. Due to expansion within the team, a Finance Executive is now required to join the organisation.  As an integral part of the finance department, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Processing supplier invoices, obtaining approval and posting in the accounting system, including updating of stocks, reconciliation of supplier statements and raising supplier payments.
  • Monitoring of customer receipts daily, processing deposits to bank, updating of bank balances and bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and other monthly reporting such as cashflows.
  • Monthly inter-company reconciliations.
  • Liaising with external team members to gather information or documents related to finance related matters.
  • Liaising with banks and auditors if, and when required.
  • General data inputting, reconciliations or other analysis as required by management.
  • Other ad-hoc duties normally performed in a finance department.
The successful candidate should have:
  • A minimum Advanced Level in Accountancy.  Candidates in the initial stages of their studies (ACCA or University degree) are also encouraged to apply.
  • Be familiar with accounting software, although training will be provided.
  • Be proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Whilst being well self-motivated and efficient, the selected candidate must be able to work both individually and within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills in Maltese

This role will work alongside the Procurement Manager to ensure materials are sourced timely and delivered to project sites timely as per project requirements. Responsibilities will include:
  • Sourcing and communicating with suppliers to obtain quotes for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Issuing and tracking all purchase orders
  • Communicating with suppliers for availability, delivery and order accuracy
  • Coordinating with Project Managers to ensure procurement is timely as per project requirement
  • Assisting the Procurement Manager with vendor performance evaluation and maintaining approved supplier lists.
  • Maintaining precise procurement documentation
  • Following up on deliveries, managing discrepancies, and helping to resolve any issues in supply chain

Talent will:

  • Managing the company time and attendance procedure.
  • Compiling and formalizing timesheets based on punch clock information.
  • Chasing for any missing information and questioning managers regarding absences.
  • Reporting anomalies in the time keeping systems.
  • Obtaining approvals for timesheets.
  • Running the whole payroll process (handling punch clock and timesheets, updating payroll system and FSS declarations)
  • Managing employee sickness and vacation leave balances.

Talent will:

Our Client is a large construction contractor undertaking road, infrastructure and building projects throughout the island. Due to ongoing project awards, a Land Surveyor with excellent CAD skills is required to join the busy team. Responsibilities include:
  • Undertaking site visits, surveying land / area and charting results with computer aided software.
  • Designing, preparing, developing, updating and maintaining 2D and 3D sketches and drawings from architectural and engineering specifications.
  • Establishing baselines and elevations to establish property lines, legal boundaries, building lines and levels of sites.
  • Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations, conducted at survey sites and marking these accurately and visibly on site.
Talent will:
  • Have relevant experience as a Land Surveyor and possess a related academic qualification
  • Be proficient with CAD packages and Microsoft Office
  • Be capable of working independently
  • Have excellent written and spoken English language skills.  Knowledge of Maltese and Italian would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Possess a driving license

Our client is a large main building contractor undertaking a range of construction projects throughout the island. Due to continued expansion within the team, a Cost Controller is required to work with the Post Contracts Manager ensuring financial success of projects. Responsibilities include:
  • Tracking project expenses against budgets including variances
  • Collaborating with the construction project managers to ensure cost allocations and reporting is accurate and timey
  • Identifying and raising any concerns with the Project Managers
  • Conducting any site visits as required
  • Preparing weekly and monthly cost reports which highlight any issues
Talent will:
  • Ideally have a Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Civil Engineering background
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Have excellent planning and time management ability

Quantity Surveyor Malta Our client is a busy construction contractor seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in finishes and fit-out works.  The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring all works are delivered in line with British Standards (BS) and project specifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for finishing works including plastering, flooring, painting, joinery, and MEP finishes.
  • Manage project costs from inception through to completion, ensuring value for money and cost control.
  • Interpret and apply BS Standards relevant to finishes and construction practices.
  • Conduct tender analysis, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations.
  • Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Monitor project progress and provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Assess and certify subcontractor payments.
