I am seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join my clients team for an offshore oil and gas project in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and analysing offshore structures, including jackets and topside facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering and design of offshore structures
- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Design jackets and topside elements, ensuring stability and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural elements with other systems
- Conduct environmental load calculations and material selection
- Provide support during offshore installation and construction phases
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore platform structural design
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS)
- Knowledge of offshore design codes and standards
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with offshore projects in the Middle East
- Familiarity with EPC or EPCI projects for offshore structures

Under general supervision of Head of Projects, you will make decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents and company guidelines, in close coordination and concurrence with the project team.
To be considered, applicants must have the following:
- A minimum of twelve (12) years' relevant experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects
- Experience managing and executing brownfield projects in resource/petrochemical industry
- Experience in pipeline and downstream fuel distribution projects
- Experience with CNG station an advantage
- Experience with dense phase Co2 pipelines and process equipment
