An individual is now required to undertake the role of Quantity Surveyor and Draughtsperson within the Technical Design Team.   Responsibilities include:
  • Liaising with clients end engineers to definite requirements and expectations for a range of projects
  • Using AutoCAD to prepare technical drawings and updating throughout project
  • Conducting site evaluations and monitoring progress
  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager regarding project planning, progress tracking etc
  • Providing technical input at site and operational meetings
  • Maintaining organised drawings, project documentation, variations, communications and technical revisions
  • Ensuring all drawings and documentation align with quality standards and client specifications
  • Validating site visit information
  • Preparing cost estimations and Bills of Quantities both for tendering and ongoing projects
  • Monitoring projects costs, identifying savings opportunities
  • Documenting cost variations, ensuring client approvals
  Talent will:
  • Be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with extensive background in building services projects

Ideally the successful individual will be capable of managing full or part sites overseeing a team of electrical and mechanical installers to ensure timely execution of project within budget.   Responsibilities:
  • Plan all resources before works, ensuring all the shop drawings, materials, tools and equipment are available for project start
  • Liaise with internal departments required in project execution
  • Attend regular meetings with clients
  • Work with bill of quantities ensuring programme of works and labour budget are aligned
  • Ensure team members are working on the latest drawings
  • Supervise team to ensure time and quality standards are maintained
  • Finalise projects within the stipulated deadline and budget whilst keeping the quality up to standard;

  • Assisting with the development of work schedules to ensure projects are completed timely
  • Mentoring the team of installers to promote their continued professional development; assessing their performance regularly
  • Coordinating with storekeepers to ensure materials and equipment are available
  • Undertake inspections, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Raise any concerns regarding materials, inaccessible sites, resources and health and safety to management
  Talent will:
  • Possess relevant qualifications and preferable hold Electrical Licenses A & B
  • Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be able to read and interpret electrical and technical diagrams
  • Have an excellent command of English with excellent communication skills
  • Be proactive, organised and able to work to defined deadlines
  • Have excellent leadership skills
