Senior Sales Operations Officer (LNG Contracts) | LNG Marketing | Doha | Energy Sector Ably Resources is supporting a globally recognised, state-backed energy organisation in Doha with the appointment of a Senior Sales Operations Officer to join its LNG Sales Contracts function. This is a commercially critical contract administration and compliance role positioned within a high-volume LNG marketing environment. The successful candidate will support the implementation and governance of long-term and short-term LNG Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPAs), ensuring contractual compliance, accurate cargo documentation, and full economic value realisation. This is not a trading role. It is a senior LNG contracts and sales operations position within a complex, globally active energy platform. The remit includes: • Supporting the implementation and compliance monitoring of LNG SPAs • Maintaining annual contractual tracking calendars and notice schedules • Preparing and issuing routine contractual notices for buyer compliance • Preparing, verifying and issuing LNG cargo documentation and invoices in line with SPA and Confirmation Notice requirements • Generating and validating SPA quantity reconciliations, pricing calculations, laytime calculations and invoice verifications • Coordinating with Operations, Finance and Buyers to resolve cargo loading, discharge and payment issues to ensure full value capture • Supporting buyer meetings and documentation, maintaining a high standard of commercial engagement • Contributing to governance controls, compliance reviews and KPI reporting The environment is fast-paced and commercially sensitive. The organisation markets LNG cargoes into all major global markets under varied and complex contractual structures, with high volumes and strict delivery timelines . Accuracy, commercial awareness and resilience under pressure are essential.
