A Design Draughtsperson is now required to join a large technical team supporting the business with design, tendering and procurement.

This role would suit a Draughtsperson with experience of CAD packages specifically in an M&E department.

Responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of M&E project drawings
• Preparation of tender process documentation
• Material take offs and procurement
• Supporting site colleagues with interpretation of technical drawings

Our Client is an electrical contractor seeking a highly organised Administration to provide essential admin support to the management team and ensure smooth operation of the office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maltese speaking Administrator with 1-2 years’ experience to take on a new challenge.

Responsibilities include:
• Undertaking general office administrative duties including screening incoming calls, greeting visitors, managing, scheduling appointments etc
• Organising documents/paperwork, taking scans and photocopies and upkeep of filing systems
• Preparing correspondence, data entry, posting
• Assisting with the preparation of tenders and proposals and compiling of invoices (in coordination with finance, development and operation teams)
• Managing all issues relating to general office maintenance, upkeep and servicing of equipment
• Working with procurement and stores to maintain stock system

Talent will:
• Be fluent in both English and Maltese

Our client is a UK head quartered design and delivery organisation requiring a Document Controller to manage all documentation for a high profile project in Central Malta.

Responsibilities will include:
• Management of all project documentation, filing and archiving, and ensuring accessibility of specific documents
• Effective coordination with internal team members to deliver and receive information and documents, to/from all parties concerned
• Manage and ensure the continuous distribution of technical documents in both electronic and hard copy formats
• Manage document requests from a number of sources
• Control, manage and coordinate all information that is issued for review, approval, construction, etc. on the projects’ electronic document management system (EDMS)
• Issue, register and coordinate the correct distribution and allocation of all official correspondence and documents between the project team, client, contractors, sub-contractors and authorities as well as between third parties and vendors
• Maintain minutes of all meetings held and distribute these in a timely manner

A highly experienced senior level Electrical Design Engineer is now required to take a lead role in the Building Services Team.

Responsibilities:
• Full management of projects from concept design through to testing and commissioning
• Approving materials and workshop designs in line with contract documentation
• Assisting in the management and forecasting of costs, using whole life cycle costing techniques, ensuring that work is done within budget
• Assisting in payment applications, variations and claims
• Assisting in designing site-specific equipment as required
• Monitoring and maintaining building systems and processes
• Coordinating MEP designs with that of other design competences deployed on projects
• Ensuring that all practices, policies, strategies and services, including the design and maintenance of building systems, comply with current professional and health and safety legislations, professional Standards and Codes of Practice
• Ensuring project Quality Assurance
• Ensuring that all Building Services aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled

To be considered for this role, applicants will:
• Be a recognised Electrical design professional holding a minimum Degree level of education and experience in the field
• Demonstrate experience performing electrical engineering duties including concept, scheme, plant sizing and detail design across a range of sectors and in projects of high complexity and scale
• Possess the ability to manage design commissions and projects
• Have an excellent understanding of quality assurance, safety and environmental sustainability
• Have strong AutoCAD capability and preferably some proficiency with BIM, Revit
• Be strong written and verbal English capability

Individuals with Chartered or Warrant status would be of particular interest to our client.

Responsibilities will include:

• Communicating and responding to client requests; understanding and maintaining client objectives and ensuring Time Service Responsiveness
• Area measurement including measure-building surveying
• Lease plan and boundary surveying
• Topographical surveying
• Existing land, engineering and property surveying
• Underground utilities mapping
• 3D laser scanning
• Cultural heritage recording
• Planning consultations
• Recording results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features, verifying also the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
• Calculating heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain
• Preparing or supervising preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
• Coordinating with engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects

• Coordinating land surveying services with that of other design competences deployed on projects including but not limited to architects, engineers, health and safety, interior designers, project managers, cost managers and all project sub-consultants, contractors and sub-contractors;

Talent will:
• Be qualified Land Surveying or Civil Engineer professionals with experience of land and property surveys
• Be proficient in the use Microsoft Office and basic Windows related software such as Adobe, Earth,
• Autodesk, Pix4D, Agisoft, DJI and Leica Environment.
• Demonstrate experience with dDrone Piloting & Photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English;
