Laboratory Assistant – Construction Materials

Our client is heavily involved in the manufacture of concrete for the construction sector.  Due to team expansion, a Laboratory Assistant is required to join their busy team.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing laboratory testing on construction materials such as concrete, cement, asphalt etc
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting test results in accordance with relevant technical standards and guidelines.
• Assisting with the maintenance, calibration, and proper operation of laboratory equipment.
• Supporting research and development initiatives aimed at improving material strength, performance, and durability.
• Preparing comprehensive laboratory reports and maintaining accurate documentation of test findings.
• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and project teams to provide reliable material data for informed decision-making.

Talent will:

• Have a qualification in structural civil engineering or similar
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have the ability to follow technical procedures and comply with safety regulations
• Possess a valid driving license
