A new vacancy has arisen within Germany for a Country Manager who can oversee a busy production facility based in Bunde.
Reporting directly to the UK based Managing Director, the successful individual will be responsible for:
• Overseeing all aspects of the German operation, primarily undertaking production of existing product for bespoke client solutions
• Managing, leading and motivating a current team of 20 including finance, admin and shop floor employees
• Monitoring the budgets and financial performance of the German branch
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the company’s key customers in country
• Set and ensure KPI targets are achieved
• Endeavour to create new ideas for continuous improvement and to drive efficiencies
• Ensure the branch adheres to Company’s Health & Safety, Quality and Equality policies
Talent for this role will either currently act as Senior Manager within a small-medium sized manufacturing facility or potentially be an middle-management individual working with a large international organisation that hopes to take on a new challenge.
You will:
• Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Possess experience in budget control, strategy planning and driving efficiency
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
• Be confident reporting into the UK Head Office, keeping the Managing Director updated regularly
• Be self motivated with a desire to achieve goals

• Provide support to the Project Management Team with regards to the partners interface, scheduling, cost controls, contract and subcontract administration and general management matters pertaining to the Block H development.
Key Accountabilities
• Monitor and report the status and overview of the project development progress and issues at hand, through scheduling, project controls, and interface with EPC and EPCIC managers / teams.
• Provide project monitoring activities within the project controls, procurement, and cost control governance policies in regard to partners (particularly in respect to PPGUA requirements).
• Assist in interface with Partners on regular basis.
• Assist in preparation of MPM and other presentation materials, including regular presentations e.g., the Monthly Coordination Meeting.
• Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly progress reports and presentations
• Prepare and maintain Long Range Plans
• Update and maintain project cost controls / VOWD records and track spending against budgets
• Become the Contract-holder for Follow-On-Engineering contractors; maintain budget and administration of same in consultation with end users in EPC and EPCIC teams.
• Preparation of contracts as required, taking charge of all interfaces between Procurement and end users in the EPC / EPCIC teams
Relevant Qualifications/Experience
• Degree in an Engineering related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry or in similar role in other industries, with relevant project management, services or interface experience.
• Project management, project support and front-end experience
• Planning and cost control skills.
• Software skills including working knowledge of Primavera and MS Project scheduling software.
