We are looking for a highly skilled Offshore Construction Manager to lead the fabrication and installation of a central processing platform offshore in North Africa. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bringing this complex project to fruition. Ably Resources is seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join our clients team. This is an essential role overseeing the safe and efficient marine transportation operations. Ably Resources are working with one of our Marine clients to find a Marine Operations Manager for their Houston offices. The Marine Operations Manager role is a highly technical role which requires someone with a complete understanding of LPG/Ethylene shipping – including seagoing experience. The client is a market leading energy shipping company with several offices and a fleet of vessels delivering fuels globally. To be considered for this Marine Operations Manager role, you must hold a Masters CoC and have experience sailing as either a Master or Chief Officer on board LPG/Ethylene vessels. You’ll be managing the mooring operations and navigation as well as deck and safety equipment. You’ll work with ship owners, suppliers and ports to ensure all vessels are compliant and operating safely. All vessels must be compliant with international maritime law, and you will play a key role in making sure that is the case. As such, a comprehensive knowledge of legislation affecting your vessels will be required. You’ll be investigating incidents, mentoring recruits and conducting appraisals and recommendation for current seafarers – among other duties. All duties must be carried out to a high standard in line with the company’s expectations. You should be technologically driven and work well in a process driven environment. There will be travel involved with this role and it is on call, with several vessels under your management expecting clear guidance from you.
