Wells Engineer – Cost Analysis – RT0041
I’m recruiting for an experienced Wells Engineer with a strong background in drilling and completions cost analysis.
In this role, you’ll support business planning and budgeting, monitor performance and costs, and prepare reports to help inform operational and financial decisions. You’ll also review contractor invoices to check they align with contractual terms.
Requirements:
– BSc in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline
– At least 10 years’ experience in drilling and operations engineering
– Experience in business planning and budgeting
– A background in cost control, performance monitoring and management reporting
– Experience reviewing contractor invoices
– A good understanding of drilling and completions operations and their associated costs
– Strong analytical, communication and computer skills
– Familiarity with SAP budgeting and contracts modules is preferred
