Senior Project Engineer – Power Generation
Location: Qatar

We are supporting a major client with the appointment of an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of major power generation and desalination projects.

This position will suit an accomplished engineering professional with strong project delivery experience across complex, multidisciplinary energy or utility developments.

Key responsibilities:
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines
• Support projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
• Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables and contractor performance
• Ensure engineering activities meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Identify and resolve technical and project delivery issues
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Provide progress updates and technical input to senior project management

Candidate requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 12 years’ industry experience
• Proven experience delivering IWPP, power generation and/or desalination projects
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction and project delivery processes
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills
