Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking to appoint an interim in-house legal counsel on a one year fixed term contract The role will primarily involve dealing with commercial contracts, providing general corporate/commercial advice across the business, as well as assessing & mitigating risk, handling dispute resolution and ensuring regulatory & compliance procedures. As an integral part of the company you can expect to liaise frequently with the executive leadership and international stakeholders. Applicants must have experience in drafting, reviewing & negotiating commercial contracts and be overall commercial lawyers comfortable providing strategic advice the business. The successful applicant will report into the head of legal and will be part of a wider UK legal team. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience and will either come from an in-house background or from a commercial private practice background. Salary will be dependant on experience.
