LNG Ship Terminal Assurance Officer
Qatar

I am currently supporting my client in the search for experienced LNG maritime professionals to join their LNG Shipping Terminal Assurance team in Qatar.

This position focuses on global LNG terminal assurance activities, ship/shore compatibility assessments and marine technical support across international LNG operations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ship/shore compatibility assessments
• LNG terminal due diligence reviews and inspections
• Marine operational support for LNG terminal acceptance
• Technical support for ESTS and commercial STS activities
• Marine input into LNG operational procedures and agreements
• Supporting new LNG terminal and FSRU/FSU developments
Candidates should have:
• Class 1 CoC (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer) or relevant degree
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in LNG or LPG transportation
• Strong understanding of LNG terminal operations and marine assurance
• Experience with ship/shore interface management
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
• Good understanding of HSSE within marine and oil & gas operations
