An opportunity is available for an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support a major offshore oil & gas development project, with a focus on Wellhead Platform (WHP) scope.
This role suits candidates with a strong EPC background.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide technical expertise for rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated packages
– Support design, specification, and vendor evaluation activities
– Review and approve vendor documentation, datasheets, and drawings
Interface with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation)
– Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and design reviews
– Support procurement, inspection, testing, and commissioning phases
– Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements
Requirements
– Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
– Significant experience in oil & gas EPC projects, specifically with WHP / offshore platform scope
– Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, and maintenance
– Experience working with major EPC contractors or operators
– Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ISO, etc.)
– Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural project environments
