Our client, one of the largest firms in the PI sector, listed in Legal 500 and Chambers, is looking to appoint an additional solicitor to one of it’s specialist accident teams. The team deals with accident/casualty work predominantly across occupational liability, employers liability, public liability and CICA. As part of this team you will deal with a broad range of PI matters including:-
• Managing your own caseload
• Mix of pre-litigated/litigated files
• Dealing with ASPIC/Court of Session/Sheriff Court work
• Taking statements
• Liability investigations
• Instructing medical experts
• Drafting summonses/writs
• Consulting with Counsel
• Appearance in court/tribunal

Role Overview:
As the Senior Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our workshop facility in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring the timely and efficient assembly, maintenance, and repair of ROVs. Your expertise in electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of workshop technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Coordinate workshop activities to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of ROV systems.
Oversee the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new ROV units.
Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and equipment.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize ROV performance and functionality.

Responsibilities include:
• Leading a team of HVAC technicians.
• Overseeing various HVAC projects including installation, maintenance and repair
• Assisting Managers with meeting material and labour budgets for projects
• Responsible for distribution and usage of tools within the team;
• Monitoring works to ensure that progress is according to plans
• Supervising the team; providing training; and assessing performance regularly
• Assisting Mangers with the review of all necessary documentation
• Monitoring the procurement of materials and equipment
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Train subordinates within training budget parameters

Talent will:
