I've a very interesting new opportunity with my client in South East Asia who are a leading name in the E&P sector. In line with their targets to reduce their carbon footprint and reach their net zero ambitions, they are looking for a candidate to join them supporting the Green House Gasses Management plan within the Group HSE function.
The position will provide technical input, insights and foresights in the development of policies, strategies, roadmap and targets related to GHG Management. You will be responsible to develop, review and implement GHG technical standards, guidelines, manuals, and procedures for effective GHG management and ensure compliance to legislative & host country requirements, industrial best practices and meeting stakeholders’ requirements.
Candidates should have 15 years experience, with ideally 10 years within the Energy Sector, with a proven record of designing and implementing GHG Management or Climate Change Adaptation Plans in a major energy sector company.

Our client is a large oilfield services company currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join the rotational team on their cutting edge floating liquefied natural gas project off the coast of Mozambique 🇲🇿
The position is a CBM focussed maintenance role, as such our client is looking for a technician with a background in commissioning, FPSO and a mix of onshore/offshore LNG experience.
The contract is for a duration of 12 months with view to extension starting in early 2023

In order to assist in the construction and development of their new facility, our client's ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years experience working with engineering companies in the field of synthesis gas production processes and downstream units, with design experience specifically in FEED and the Detailed Engineering project phase. Operational knowledge in commissioning and start-up is also highly sought.
To be successful in this role the candidate shall also be familiar with Static and Dynamic Simulation as well as P&IDs, PFDs, Datasheet of Equipment & Instrumentation, Hazop and knowledge of international standards and design practices.
Do you have experience in synthesis gas, hydrogen, ammonia, and or methanol production? Our client is offering a direct employment contract for a period of 12 months with view to extension starting ASAP.
You will be relocated to Milan with an apartment and allowance provided for the duration of the contract.

You’ll contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications. You’ll be required to maintain safe working practices, report to the Engineer on watch and execute your assigned tasks in an agreed timeframe.
Your tasks as an EOOW/Motorman are diverse and as such you will have the opportunity to use and develop your problem-solving skills in a wide range of scenarios.
As an EOOW, Motorman, you are responsible for:
• The safe and efficient completion of the duties required by the Chief / Second Engineer's standing Work Routines, planned maintenance jobs, operational duties, and general maintenance of the parts of the vessel managed by the Chief / Second Engineer including cleaning, painting and greasing.
• Carrying out Engine Room watch keeping duties as directed.
• Carrying out Engine Room fire and safety patrols as directed.
• Assisting in the maintenance of all Engine Room firefighting and safety equipment as directed by the Second Engineer.
• Attending all statutory fire and safety drills on board.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following certification.
• BOSIET/FOET and CA-EBS – OPITO Approved
• STCW Elementary First Aid
• STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
• STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities

You’ll liaise with the deck and crane team in all instances and work as part of the team to ensure the safety of all crew, regardless of the vessel type assigned.
To be considered for a position as Crane Operator, you should have experience with;
• Large cranes and experience lifting 300tn plus or for drillships/semi-subs 120tn plus
• Experience with Knuckle Boom cranes
• Working on large offshore construction or drilling projects
• Moving loads in areas with tight deck space
The following certification is required.
• Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 or G5 Certification
• Minimum Certification of Proficiency STCW A-II/4 or A-III/4 or Dual Certification
• Basic STCW Certificates
• Proficiency in Security Awareness (STCW A-VI/6-1)

The job will include working on;
• Hook up procedures, sequences, estimates and planning
• The mobilisation/demobilisation plans for the project – including personnel, materials, equipment and consumables.
• Possible liaising with Procurement to ensure the right equipment at the right time
• Site visits and execution of the projects, including follow ups.
Your expertise will be required when reviewing and implementing plans and procedures. This will include working with the engineering, operations, HSE and HR departments to ensure there are adequate resources to get the job done properly and safely.
You’ll be liaising with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, subcontractors and other operationally important companies and individuals.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be highly organised with exceptional technical knowledge in hook up equipment, materials and consumables. You’ll be experienced with lifting, installs and topside work including retrofits and revamps. Of course, an overarching understanding of the HSE regulations required for successful hook up campaigns is required.
We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant discipline, around 5 years in a senior leadership role and 15 years plus experience offshore.

The Marine Operations Manager role is a highly technical role which requires someone with a complete understanding of LPG/Ethylene shipping – including seagoing experience.
The client is a market leading energy shipping company with several offices and a fleet of vessels delivering fuels globally.
To be considered for this Marine Operations Manager role, you must hold a Masters CoC and have experience sailing as either a Master or Chief Officer on board LPG/Ethylene vessels.
You’ll be managing the mooring operations and navigation as well as deck and safety equipment. You’ll work with ship owners, suppliers and ports to ensure all vessels are compliant and operating safely.
All vessels must be compliant with international maritime law, and you will play a key role in making sure that is the case. As such, a comprehensive knowledge of legislation affecting your vessels will be required.
You’ll be investigating incidents, mentoring recruits and conducting appraisals and recommendation for current seafarers – among other duties. All duties must be carried out to a high standard in line with the company’s expectations.
