• Provide specialist engineering expertise for the design, fabrication, and installation of offshore deep-water structures, umbilical’s, risers, and flowlines in support of PTTEP Kuala Lumpur’s deep-water development activities.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage execution of SURF (Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline) front end engineering scopes with engineering contractors
• Ensure that all subsea system solutions in support of the project meets the specified functional design criteria and all technical and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and support the development of contract documents during the tender process for EPC and EPCIC work scopes
• Coordinate and support the engineering works required from detailed design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover to Operations
• Establish, implement, measure the performance of, and continuously improve work processes so that resources are used efficiently, ensuring predictable performance
• Meet PTTEPs quality, cost, and schedule requirements
• Ensure adherence to PPGUA requirements throughout the process
Relevant Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 10 years’ experience in SURF and subsea concept design of which at least three years’ experience at supervisor / project management level.
• Overall understanding of disciplines relevant for development of subsea concepts
• In-depth knowledge of field operation involving multiple subsea production/injection centre’s
• Experience with front-end opportunity appraisal, option evaluation, feasibility assessments and concept development selection.
• Experience in project cost estimating, schedule development and evaluation
