Our client operates a fleet of over 40 LPG carriers, which serve the international supply chains of leading oil majors and commodity traders throughout Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

For their office located in the Philippines, we are looking for a TRAINING MANAGER – DECK.

Job Summary

The Training Manager – Deck will plan and administer developmental training programs and learning interventions for the seafarers. Develops cadets and assists in managing their career path. Manages training resources (internal and external) and training partners.

Compliance with the rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Continuous improvement of Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health & Hygiene performance

Take appropriate action when required, in the interest of the Company and to safe- guard its property and assets.

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of a failure / non-conformance in the work areas for which they are responsible.

Preparation of hand-over notes:


Licensed Master Mariner, with at least 2 years of sea service in rank

Very good knowledge of LPG vessels

Experienced in the field of ship management, particularly marine HR and crewing operations.

Relevant management and leadership experience

Experience in financial processes and managing a budget.

Ability to analyze complex problems and identify core problems.

This will be a permanent position, based in Manila, with a monthly salary and a package of benefits.
