Our client is an international company specializing in engineering services in oil & gas, renewables, marine and nuclear. For their office in southern France, we are seeking a Senior Structural Designer.

Your duties will include :

• Perform and/or supervise Structural Design, the Associated Drawings, the weight control report and Material Take-Off

• Used to Offshore Structure (tubular subsea structure + deck/topside structure) and Naval Structure (reinforced shell panel) from conceptual design to design for construction;

• Use industry standard software (AutoCAD 2D/3D, Rhino), a specialized software would be a plus (e.g. Inventor, Tekla, MicroStation, …)

• Manage design including:

o Budget evaluation & proposal preparation together with structural and hydrodynamic engineers

o Internal coordination of the team, including the supervision and mentoring of designers

o Management of the planning, cost/time control aspects to report to Project Manager and meet project requirements and deadlines

o Technical interface internally with calculation engineers and externally with client and reporting

• Participate to maintenance and development of design procedure and related QA/QC

• Involvement in projects for the Oil & Gas and Marine Renewable Energy industries

Requirements

Min. 10 years overall experience with at least 3 years in a similar position

Strong knowledge in codes, standards, methodologies, and state of the art structural design approaches

Strong knowledge in either AutoCAD, Rhino, Inventor

Fluency in English is mandatory
