Plant Construction Manager

Delighted to present a very exciting role with my European client who operate on a global scale.

As the Plant Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality control policies, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide leadership to create an organisation that ensures work execution complies with quality specifications

– Coordinate all activities from project award to handover to the client

– Plan, organise, and manage mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment, personnel, facilities, and tools

– Manage and organise project services (HSE, security, logistics, QA/QC, technical office, etc.)

– Plan, organise, and manage operational activities, coordinating superintendents/supervisors

– Ensure time, cost, quality, and safety targets are met through effective team management

– Define resource needs (personnel, vehicles, materials) and logistical requirements with project management

– Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines

– Collaborate with commissioning and completion teams for systems handover

Required Qualifications:

– 8+ years of experience as a Construction Manager

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

– Multidisciplinary knowledge of construction standards, codes, and work sequences

– Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

– Strong commitment to HSE and quality control

– Proficiency in project management tools and software
