Our Client is an organisation providing health and safety services to a range of clients. To support the Health & Safety Manager, a Health & Safety Officer or Assistant is now required to deliver H&S initiatives throughout the client premises whilst also assisting a client base within various sectors.

Responsibilities will include

• Managing requests from current and prospective clients, conducting site visits and preparing proposals

• Ensuring follow-ups and responding to relevant queries

• Conducting H&S audits, risk assessments and report writing following site visits, inspections, audits and investigations

• Ensuring internal compliance with H&S regulations and offering relevant advice to stakeholders;

• Maintain and produce H&S data, statistics and reporting

• Assisting in the development and delivery of basic H&S training modules and the maintenance of course accreditations

• Assisting the department in meeting annual targets

Applicants will:

• Possess a NEBOSH certificate

• Possess 1year+ experience in health and safety, preferably gained within a consultancy environment

• Have a driving license

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Maltese would be beneficial)

• Be a motivated team player with the ability to handle a busy work load.
