Ably Resources have the privilege of recruiting an experienced Commercial Executive for their rapidly expanding Financial Services client. This fantastic opportunity is permanent and will be based in their modern offices in Glasgow city centre.
This role would be ideal for a highly enthusiastic and confident communicator who would be comfortable within a direct telesales role. Your primary function will be to generate and confirm qualified sales leads over the phone to pass on to the sales team.
What they offer:
· Salary: £22,000 basic and an achievable bonus of up to £1000 per month.
· Performance related bonus up to £2700 per quarter

· Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 9:00am to 5pm Friday 9:00am-3:30pm /45 minutes lunch break each day
Responsibilities:
· Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
· Strong product and company knowledge
· Ask questions to understand customer requirements and generate qualified sales leads.
· Direct qualified prospects to the field sales team
· Enter and update customer information in the database.
· Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.
· Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and help facilitate future sales.
Required skills:
· Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
· Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
· Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
· Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Confident proficiency in objection handling.
· Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
