The Project Investment Report and Basic Design Package have been completed and the current project status is Front End Engineering Design phase
My client is nominated to carry out the detailed design for both offshore and onshore packages
The Pipeline runs from the offshore field to the LPG terminal
Scope of services for Procurement Manager:
The Procurement Manager reports to the GPM and is responsible for all necessary direction, definition and coordination to ensure the procurement activities are completed in line with the quality requirements and in conformance with the Project specifications, budgets and schedules.
His responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare, implement and maintain the Project Procurement Plan and specific Project procedures.
Prepare the Procurement Schedule, and monitor and report on progress. Identify and advise the GPM of potential schedule problems.
Finalize, update and maintain the vendor list and obtain Owner approval for any amendment to the List by providing necessary back-up documents and discussing with Owner.
Direct the activities of the buyers, expediters, logistics and procurement supporting offices.
Evaluate the proposals commercially and coordinate with the Pipeline and GPP2 Project Managers for technical evaluations.

You will have significant experience working in the Oil and Gas sector, with significant Detailed Design experience on onshore/offshore pipelines
Experience in SE Asia and with EPC contractors is preferential
The Gas Pipeline is designed to transport natural gas from the proposed Central Platform located off Vietnam to Power Plants along industrial zones along the pipeline routes.
The Pipeline rout e is as follows:
• Starting at Processing Platform offshore Vietnam
• Approx 90 m riser and facilities on Processing Platform
• Approx 246 km subsea pipeline
• Shore crossing
• Approx 152.4km onshore pipeline
• Passing though gas distribution centres
