Senior Electrical Engineer
£Negotiable per annum

Our client is involved in oil and gas and offshore wind engineering, design, maintenance and inspection. For their operation in Germany we ... are seeking an experienced, Electrical Engineer to be involved in offshore substation engineering/ design.
This will be a permanent position, predominantly based in Berlin, with travel to Hamburg.

The selected candidate will be involved in the
Cable design and modelling
Routing and construction of HV cable routes
System design of cable facilities
Supervision of the pre-qualification of subcontractors
Supervision of external cable transports, external cable storage and cable laying
Supervision of cable production, transport and storage
Supervision of the cable tray marking

Degree in relevant discipline – Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering
Good knowledge of
Experience with SCADA systems, LV and MV
Experienced with interfaces to HV
Very good knowledge of English and German in speech and writing
Experience in managing projects and leading project teams
Previous experience within offshore wind sector will be an advantage

ABLY RESOURCES’ client, a leading Engineering Technology organisation, is seeking a SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE in ... Malaysia.

Located in nation’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, this is a permanent position which is associated with an extensive benefits package.

The accountabilities & responsibilities associated with the role include, but aren’t limited to;

• Handle the business’ full Accounts, inclusive of Bank & Balance Sheet items
• Manage data entry and updating of accounts into Accounting System
• Prepare Profit and Loss Statement together with analysis
• Ensure payment processing/releasing is fully supported with auditable documentations
• To suggest and drive project cost recovery efforts on regularly and timely basis
• Compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)

The ideal candidate will boast the following;

• A BSc or Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of UBS and/or Sage100 Accounting System
• Experience in Management Accounting, Financial Analysis & Tax

The role will include:

• Progress Meetings
• Health & Safety on Site

• Staff Appraisals and Development Plans
• Monitoring Sub-Contractors and Staff Performance

The successful candidate will have:
• Relevant qualification or extensive experience in construction site management (SMSTS as a minimum)
• Good understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
• Good knowledge of construction build programmes and processes
• Commercial awareness.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Broad knowledge of customer service requirement
• Broad awareness of codes of practice that impact on construction matters e.g. NHBC, Building Regs etc.
• Good Technical knowledge relating to construction activities
• Good knowledge of Construction Design Management Regulations

As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for securing reservations in line with our strategic goals, whilst offering the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will:
• Be an experienced and highly motivated sales professional, ideally with a background in property development/real estate.
